In late 2023, Hawi Construction was awarded the project to oversee a new RTM (Ready to Move) project as well as frame and complete a 30x35’ attached garage in Ponoka County. Prior to the RTM delivery, Hawi Construction needed to coordinate the new gravity distribution septic system as well as gas and power. Once the services and utilities we’re confirmed, excavation and the ICF crawl space foundation could begin.

 

In only a matter of a couple days, the foundation, structural beams, concrete slabs and backfill were completed and ready for the building placement. The RTM was ordered and delivered from Lloydminster and required 2-days of transportation until it saw its destination. Once the building was placed, Hawi Construction worked with the mechanical and electrical contractors to quickly install the new systems and coordinate the building hook-ups so the homeowners could move into their new space.

With the garage package delivered shortly after the RTM, Hawi Construction quickly got to work framing the walls and trusses. Once the structure was up, shingling the 10/12 roof and installing the exterior siding could begin. After the rain screen was completed and the doors and windows were installed, Hawi construction insulated and poly’d the structure as well as hung up all the drywall.

In only a matter of a few short weeks, Hawi Construction was able to complete the project allowing the homeowner to quickly move in and enjoy their beautiful new home.
