Near the end of 2023, Hawi Construction was asked to help frame and complete a 40x50 airplane hanger in Ponoka Alberta. The owner was looking for labour and assistance to erect the pole shed structure, insulate and complete the interior and exterior metal cladding. Due to challenging soils, the pole structure required a modified foundation which included custom designed brackets that were fastened to the laminated posts and edge thickening. Battling cold weather, Hawi Construction helped complete the pole shed structure along with an aluminum frame airplane hanger door.
